Strategy Execution is a very interesting class that gave us practical tools in order to plan strategies in a company or a school. One of the tools given was a SWOT matrix which I believe is very useful in strategic planning. A SWOT matrix helps you conduct an internal and external analysis of a company in order to identify key issues that need to be addressed. I am currently leading a Campus Effectiveness Plan at my institution and conducting a SWOT analysis was a very interesting exercise that gave us a situational profile of our campus. I really recommend this course for strategic planners!!
